Our experience in sports production dates back to 1982 when the Cleveland Force of the Major Indoor Soccer League asked us to develop a weekly highlight show. The Keith Furphy Show (hosted by the team's leading scorer,) debuted in November, 1982 on Aldelphia Cable. The show was an immediate success, and within a month, we created "The Classic Cable Network," a tape bicycling system that allowed the show to be cablecast in over 700,000 cable homes in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

In rapid order, Kent State University, the Cleveland Barons and the Ohio Amateur Golf Tournament came on board. National magazines such as Sports Illustrated and Cable Marketing chronicled our unique ability to deliver local programming to a regional audience, something unheard of in the early days of cable programming.

In the twenty plus years since then, regional and national sports networks have perfected the regional delivery of programs and created a huge demand for quality sports programming. Classic Teleproductions has responded to this opportunity, producing programming for broadcast and cable networks, local broadcast and cable affiliates, professional teams, and college and university athletic departments and conferences.
